Recognizing Real Estate As An Industry
Ar. Mohammad Foyez Ullah's interview on DBC News' Business related show "Tally Khata" where the participants (joined by the host Rifat Tasnuva, Ar. Nafejul Quadiem of Innovation Associate) discussed the insecurities surrounding the Housing Sector in Bangladesh. Ar. Foyez emphasised the fact that the real estate in Bangladesh should be recognised as an industry and analyse its contribution to the economy of the country. He pointed out that real estate should be accommodated within a policy framework with government backed incentives and facilitation of Public Private Partnership (PPP). He also explained how the Detailed Area Plan (DAP) should be revisited to ensure urban land optimization.The video is available here:
