Shahzada is a 10 storied residential building on a trapezoidal site in the corner of calm and soothing neighborhood of Banani. The unique shape of this site directly inspires the design and spatial quality of this abode with priority centering on the south.
SCULPTING A LANDMARK
Inspired from the context, Shahzada has a sculptural appearance that ensures enhanced quality of living.
Located on a humble corner plot of Banani, Shahzada gets an easy access to Kamal Ataturk Avenue where it enjoys the company of numerous renowned restaurants and cafes and retail outlets.

The strategic design of the apartment units enabled the spatial dynamics to be towards the southern side. Consequently, the family living is placed in the south with large balconies (11’-6”X 12’-0”), as its extension to enjoy the southern breeze of the tropical summer, while acting as the integral element of the building.
Owing to the trapezoid nature of the site, the core of this smooth surfaced concrete building gets its striking feature. This look gets complimented by the interplay of horizontal planes for the sun-shading and privacy mechanism and the consolidated balconies on the southern facades for the relaxation of the occupants.
